Day 1 · Fly into Baja & Welcome Dinner
Arrive in Baja California Sur (La Paz or Los Cabos). Ventana Travel meets you at the airport and brings you to your first-night lodging. Settle in, meet your host, and enjoy a Japanese-inspired welcome dinner with sake to set the tone for the week.
Day 2 · Board the Catamaran & First Sail
Transfer to the marina and board your luxury A/C catamaran. Meet the captain, crew, and sushi chef, then sail toward island anchorages. Sunset swim and your first full omakase-style dinner on board.
Day 3 · Ocean-to-Table Tuna & Yellowtail
Morning fishing session for tuna, yellowtail, or whatever Baja offers that day. Learn how the chef breaks down the fish, talk cuts and texture, and savor an ocean-to-table tasting menu with sake pairings.
Day 4 · Ramen at Anchor & Freedive Options
Explore protected coves with snorkeling and optional freediving. In the afternoon, dive into broths, tare, and toppings as the chef builds a ramen night using Baja ingredients and Japanese technique.
Day 5 · Whale Sharks, Turtles & Izakaya Night
Slip into the water with whale sharks when in season and watch turtles glide beneath you. That evening, the boat turns into an izakaya: small plates, skewers, Japanese beer, and relaxed deck vibes.
Day 6 · Chef’s Counter & Sake Flight
A day built around the chef’s creativity: knife skills, plating, and flavor building. Dinner is a multi-course chef’s counter with a guided sake flight.
Day 7 · Last Sail & Final Night on Shore
Enjoy a final sail and swim stop before returning to shore. One more night of Baja sunset and Japanese-inspired flavors, then a relaxed evening to pack and unwind.
Day 8 · Departure
